Laparoscopic reversal of sterilisation

Laparoscopic reversal of sterilisation

Laparoscopic reversal of sterilisation is a minimally invasive surgical procedure aimed at reversing a previous sterilisation (also known as tubal ligation) to restore fertility in women who no longer wish to be sterile. In this procedure, the surgeon uses a laparoscope (a thin tube with a camera) to access the fallopian tubes and re-join or repair them, allowing the possibility for natural conception.
