Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis
Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to treat endometriosis, a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows outside the uterus, often causing pain, infertility, and other complications. This surgery involves the removal of endometrial-like tissue from areas where it does not belong, such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes, the outer surface of the uterus, and other organs in the pelvic area.
