Endometrial ablation is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to treat abnormal uterine bleeding by removing or destroying the lining of the uterus (the endometrium). This procedure aims to reduce or stop menstrual bleeding in women who have heavy or prolonged periods and do not wish to have more children.
