Colposcopy

Colposcopy is a medical examination procedure used to closely examine the cervix, vagina, and vulva for signs of disease. It is typically performed when an abnormal Pap smear result is found, or if there are symptoms such as unusual bleeding, discharge, or pain. During the procedure, a colposcope, a special magnifying instrument, is used to get a clearer view of the areas of concern.
