Iliopsoas muscle block

An Iliopsoas muscle block is a medical procedure in which a local anaesthetic or other medications are injected into or near the iliopsoas muscle, a large muscle group located in the lower back and hip. This block is primarily used to manage pain associated with hip joint disorders, groin pain, or lower back pain, particularly when the pain is originating from the iliopsoas muscle or its related structures.
