Big Toe Joint Fusion

Big Toe Joint Fusion, also known as Hallux Fusion or Arthrodesis of the MTP Joint, is a surgical procedure that involves fusing the bones of the metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint at the base of the big toe. This procedure is typically performed to treat conditions that cause severe pain or degeneration of the joint, such as hallux rigidus (a type of arthritis) or following a traumatic injury.
