Mandibular nerve blocks

Mandibular nerve blocks

Mandibular nerve blocks are a type of regional anesthesia used to block sensation in the lower jaw, teeth, gums, and some surrounding areas of the mouth. The mandibular nerve, a branch of the trigeminal nerve, provides sensory innervation to the lower face, including the lower teeth, gums, chin, and part of the tongue.
