Intramuscular block

An intramuscular block refers to the injection of a medication (often an anesthetic or muscle relaxant) directly into the muscle to block nerve signals, resulting in temporary muscle paralysis, pain relief, or a reduction in muscle spasms. This technique is commonly used for diagnostic purposes, pain management, or as part of a treatment plan for musculoskeletal conditions.
