Ganglion block

A ganglion block (also known as an autonomic block) is a medical procedure in which an aesthetic is injected near a group of nerves called a ganglion to interrupt nerve signals. This block can be used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes to manage pain or conditions that involve the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary functions like heart rate, digestion, and blood pressure.
