Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) is a minimally invasive procedure to treat chronic sinusitis and other sinus conditions when medical treatments, such as medications, have failed. It uses an endoscope (a thin, flexible tube with a camera and light) to access and treat the sinuses through the nasal passages, avoiding external incisions.
