Botulinum toxin injections are medical treatments that involve the injection of a purified form of botulinum toxin, a neurotoxin produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria. The most commonly known form of this toxin is Botox, but there are other formulations such as Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau.
