Cardiac Event Monitors

A Cardiac Event Monitor is a small device that records your heart’s electrical activity, or ‘ECG’, over time. It can diagnose irregular heart rhythms, and evaluate temporary symptoms like palpitations.

What happens during a Cardiac Event Monitor?

Your Cardiologist will discuss the test before it begins, ensuring you feel calm and comfortable during the process.

Your clinician will attach sticky patches with wire leads (electrodes) to your chest, and this device records your heart’s electrical activity.
