The third part of a phased process, the investment will fund a new state-of-the-art GE X-Ray machine for the Advanced Diagnostic Centre as well as extensive upgrading and refurbishment work, which will see the hospital reducing activity over Christmas to minimise any disruption

St Joseph’s Hospital in Newport is celebrating 109,564 appointments since the hospital re-launched in October 2015. The figure is a 52% increase on the previous two years, which saw just under 72,000 patients make appointments at the leading private facility.
