Professor Nick Ossei-Gerning awarded OBE in 2024 New Years Honors list

St Joseph’s Hospital are delighted to share that Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, Professor Nick Ossei-Gerning was awarded an OBE in the 2024 New Years Honors list.

Professor Ossei-Gerning has over 30 years’ experience as a general and interventional cardiologist and has been a speaker both nationally and internationally on various aspects of general and interventional cardiology, as well as men’s health.

His award of OBE is for his continuous service to interventional cardiology as well as his interventional cardiology work in Africa, and Ghana where he also set up a heart centre and now remains a visiting Professor.

Professor Ossei-Gerning has previously performed live cases nationally and internationally to help support and promote education within the speciality. His continuous service and efforts to interventional cardiology have resulted in the award in the 2024 New Years Honours list.
