Sonia graduated with a first-class honour’s degree with clinical distinction from The University of Wales College of Medicine in 2000. Prior to her physiotherapy degree Sonia graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in sports science. After qualifying as a physiotherapist, Sonia spent 4 years in the NHS, where she completed rotations in all core aspects of physiotherapy and then specialising in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal outpatients. Sonia joined the Physiotherapy team at St Joseph’s Hospital in 2004.
Since specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients, Sonia has completed further training in hydrotherapy, Pilates, and Mentoring.
Over the last 8 years Sonia has developed a clinical interest in mentoring and life coaching, with the aim being to help people improve their overall well-being and happiness. Guiding people in areas such as health, relationships, grief, personal growth, stress and anxiety.
