Robyn trained in Cardiff University and became a registered physiotherapist in 2014. Her career started in the NHS and having gained experience in the core specialities, she soon knew that working in trauma and orthopaedics was her passion. Robyn specialised in the acute rehabilitation of traumatic injuries and elective surgery since, working across many hospitals in South Wales. 
In January 2022 Robyn joined the team at St Joseph’s Hospital permanently, which proved a smooth transition from working with the same consultants at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Her roles includes post-operative outpatient care but predominantly working with the inpatient team to help patients mobilise and return home safely after their surgery. Robyn leads the pre admission clinic each week where advice and support is given to patients in preparation for their admission to the ward for a joint replacement. A part of her role highly valued by Robyn is being part of the patient’s rehabilitation journey from pre admission to discharge after several months.
