Katy qualified at the University of Central Lancashire in 2014 and began working for the NHS, completing rotations over 2 years and then in 2016  specialising in orthopaedics. 

Katy then moved into paediatrics for 5 years, where again her area of special interest was orthopaedic rehabilitation, but also gained experience and skills working with complex neurological, developmental and neuromuscular conditions. During this time, Katy also held a private community caseload.
