Professional bio

Dr Yermakova graduated from Russian State Perm Medical Academy in 1990, she then completed her training in paediatric neurology in 1993, Clinical Neurophysiology in 1995 and General Neurology in 1998. She gained further experience in the UK at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, Hull and later in Leeds where she was a clinical lead. Dr Yermakova was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologists at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in August 2021.

Personal Profile

Dr Tatyana Yermakova is a consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology with over 25 years’ experience in a wide range of peripheral nerves and muscle disorders. She loves solving complex cases. Her special interests include MND, peripheral nerve injury, radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar neuropathy.
Dr Yermakova take part in regular complex neuromuscular MDT meetings; she is an honorary tutor with the University of Cardiff and is an educational supervisor for trainees in Clinical Neurophysiology.
