I did my under graduation in one of the most prestigious Teaching Institute in India Amrita School of medicine in 2005 and subsequently obtained ECFMG certification in the United States of America. I did my General Medicine and Rheumatology Training in Wales and am one of the first Consultants in Wales to be Dually accredited in both General Medicine and Rheumatology.

I have been a practising NHS Consultant For Rheumatology and Medicine in Wales since 2020 and have been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching, over-seeing numerous trainees as an educational/clinical supervisor. I am based in Aneurin Bevan Health Board but continue to practise General medicine out of hours work in various Trusts in South Wales.

I am currently involved in teaching and moderating the connective tissue diseases topic in MSc diploma program conducted via the University of South Wales. This is an online program which is run over 6 weeks and covers various connective tissue diseases topics on a weekly basis with an exam at the end of the course. I am actively involved in ensuring all the participating students are engaged and queries answered.
