St David’s Hospice Care introduces St Joseph’s Hospital City of Newport Half Marathon

St Joseph’s Hospital is thrilled to announce the launch of the St Joseph’s Hospital City of Newport Half Marathon, scheduled to take place on Sunday, 2nd March, 2025. This exciting event organised by St David’s Hospice Care is proudly sponsored by St Joseph's Hospital and is set to become a highlight of the local sporting calendar.

The half marathon, which will wind its way through the scenic streets of Newport and Caerleon promises to be a celebration of community spirit and athleticism. Runners of all levels are invited to participate in this event, which will feature entertainment for both participants and spectators along the route.

St Joseph’s Hospital City of Newport Half Marathon celebrates the long-standing partnership between St Joseph’s Hospital and St David’s Hospice Care, and their shared dedication to promoting health and supporting the local community.

The half marathon will offer participants a chance to challenge themselves while supporting a worthy cause. All proceeds from the event will go towards funding essential services and support provided by St David’s Hospice Care. St Joseph’s Hospital will have a team of runners on the day who will be running to raise further money and awareness for the charity.
