St Joseph's Hospital sponsors Admiral City of Newport Half Marathon

St Joseph’s Hospital are pleased to announce that they are sponsoring the Admiral City of Newport Half Marathon which takes place on the 5th March 2023.

The race, organised by St David’s Hospice Care, will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary in 2023. St Joseph’s hospital have supported the event every year since it began and have been delighted to be part of raising money for the cause. 
Members of the Joseph’s Hospital team will be taking part in the event, along with thousands of runners. There are a limited number of spaces available for you to sign up and be part of the event taking place early next year. Physiotherapist at St Joseph’s Hospital will be hosting online events pre and post event to help runners prepare and recover efficiently from the event.

Event Director at St David’s Hospice Care, Christine Vorres, commented, “It’s wonderful to have St Joseph’s Hospital with us once again. They have been with us at every event over the last 10 years, and their support means a lot to us. We feel it’s important for the community to work together and we appreciate St Joseph’s Hospital standing by us, helping the charity to raise vital funds for hospice care, and also, enhancing the experience for all our runners on the day. We are very grateful for their generous sponsorship.”
