Professor Ossei-Gerning has 30 years’ experience as a general and interventional cardiologist. He has been a speaker both nationally and internationally on various aspects of general and interventional cardiology, as well as men’s health.
Professor Ossei-Gerning has previously performed live cases nationally and internationally and has set up a heart centre in Ghana, where he remains a visiting Professor.
Professor Ossei-Gerning has worked on angiotensin converting enzyme in relation to the extent of coronary artery disease was selected as Judges Choice (top 7) at the British Cardiac Society, 1995. He was the Supervisor at the Heart Research Fund for Wales to work on Masters of Biomedical Research during 2014/15, as wll ad the Supervisor of Reasrch Fellow achieving Distinction in Master of Biomedical Research.
In 2016, Professor Ossei-Gerning was the Professor of Practice at the University of Wales, Trinity St David's.
In the 2024 New Years Honors list, Professor Ossei-Gerning was awarded an OBE for his services to interventional cardiology, as well as his work in Ghana.
